Portrait Lighting with Flashlight
Would you like to create the popular lights of portrait and fashion photography with a simple flashlight? Photographers usually think that a good light can be created with expensive equipment. Of course, equipment and a camera are very important tools for a professional photographer, but when you understand the light and direct it in a proper way, it is possible to do good work with the bag of tricks.
Burak Bulut, who has been teaching light to professionals since 10 years at his photography school in Istanbul, has made a photoshoot that will inspire those who are passionately in love with photography. LIGHT, which is one of the most important elements of photography, has a leading role in this photo shooting series that did not benefit from costly equipment, professional camera and photoshop. Indeed, the camera that Burak Bulut used to create popular lights -such as high key, low key, rembrandt, butterfly, etc. that are made by professional photographers- only with a single flashlight and without using studio facilities is a randomly selected average smartphone. The Samsung A310 F, which has no manual settings, was assisted with a flashlight that was the light source in a dark room and with the auxiliary materials such as aluminum foil and waxed paper that anyone can easily access. Let us remind you that there are no arrangements in these photographs, including framing.
